15 Miles CHAS Charity Walk Complete!

£1300 Raised for Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).

On the 31st May, the Softworx team completed a charity walk to raise funds for CHAS. The Charity walk followed along The West Highland Way for 15 miles from Rowardennan to Drymen. It was an excellent day for an excellent cause, the weather was brilliant for us which kept the team spirit high!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us and everyone who donated. We managed to raise a grand total of £1300 for CHAS.

We are already looking forward to next years venture!

Softworx Team Charity Walk

Walking to Raise Funds for Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).

Its Back - Walking the next stretch of The West Highland Way

Some of you will remember that we took on part of the ‘West Highland Way’, (WHW) challenge last Summer, raising just over £1400 for the Homeless Project Scotland and the Glasgow NW Foodbank. The weather was kind to us, the team thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it was such a worthwhile endeavour to support charities delivering some great work in the process.

This year, we take on the next stage of the WHW, leaving from Drymen – heading for Rowardennan, covering 15 miles of the stunning Scottish landscape. With all our team taking part on Friday 31st May – we will be raising funds for CHAS – Children’s Hospices Across Scotland.

For thirty years the charity has been offering a full family support service for babies, children, and young people with life-shortening conditions. This includes palliative care, family respite and support – through their hospices, homecare services and hospital presence. Their incredible work has such a positive impact on the families that they support each day. Please donate as little or as much as you can via our just giving page below!

Thanks so much for your help – we will keep you all updated on how we get on. Wish us luck!
