Softworx 2025 Charity Walk Complete!
The Softworx team completed 15 miles on Friday 6th June for Chris’s House. It was a great day for an even greater cause and we are proud to have raised £1200. We managed to stay dry for the most part, which kept the team spirit up along with the Softworx dogs that joined us! We then enjoyed a team lunch afterwards.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us and everyone who donated.
We are looking forward to next years venture!
Softworx Charity Walk 2025!
Walking to raise funds for Chris's House.
The Softworx Team are taking on 15 miles of one Scotland's Great Trails - The Clyde Walkway.
With all our team taking part on Friday 6th June from Strathclyde Park to Crossford – we will be raising funds for Chris’s House.
Chris’s House was founded by Anne Rowan, a Wishaw mum with a passionate vision for a crisis centre established in memory of her son Chris, whom she lost to suicide in 2011 at the age of 36.
Chris’s House stands for ‘Centre of Help, Response and Intervention Surrounding Suicide’ and has been set up to offer a safe environment where people in, or approaching, suicidal crisis can have a safe place to go and get professional support. This will help them to begin to recover from their current mental ill health.
Any donations and support for such an important cause would be greatly appreciated.
