Alan is the founder of Softworx and the Group Managing Director. With almost 30 years’ experience within the UK technology sector, Alan has an in-depth understanding of how technology can help clients achieve their desired business outcomes. With a wealth of experience from working for Global Systems Integrators as well as smaller technology start up’s, Alan has an unsurpassed insight into how to grow a serviced based business.

Primarily based in our Glasgow Head Office, Alan has responsibility for group oversight, operations and strategy, which means that whilst located in Scotland, he spreads his time equally across all of our regional businesses.

In his spare time Alan enjoys spending time with his family, playing football and is trying (not particularly successfully) to improve on his golf handicap.

Eddie has always had a passion for business and technology and has built a wealth of experience over the years in various senior positions within large corporations. Having supported the business community through good times and bad, he understands the value of his experience alongside his understanding of the everchanging technological landscape and brings all of this expertise to to Softworx.

Eddie`s practice spans everything from Cyber security & Compliance right through to Unified Communications.

Outside of work he enjoys the Ayrshire Coast, food and the Gin Gym. A family man with three grown up daughters Eddie enjoys time with them more than ever.

Aidan is head of the Connectivity and Collaboration division for our UK business. Having spent the first 10 years of his career in the Capital Equipment and Leasing markets he moved into the Telecoms sector in 2003 and has spent over 15 years’ developing an in depth knowledge of all aspects of associated technologies and how they help organisations work smarter, better and more cost effectively.

Based primarily from our Glasgow office but with a national remit, Aidan is passionate about helping businesses utilise the latest technologies when creating their strategic plans, ensuring they future proof their investment, not just for where they are now but for where they want to be in years to come.

Very much a family man, with an active social life, Aidan spends a lot of his time with his 2 children and can often find his evenings and weekends being spent as “dad’s taxi”, when not driving the kids about though, Aidan enjoys getting to the gym, eating out and watching the latest box set or movie.

Andy has been with Softworx since January 2018 and heads up all things Business Development.

Responsible for Softworx new client relationships and the maintenance and development of the existing client base, partner engagement and the business development team.

Looking back, Andy started with BT in 1997, and also worked for Vodafone in addition to 12 years with RBS in both Sales and Training positions working extensively throughout the UK at various Head Offices.

Out with work his interests are football (probably bordering on being an anorak) as well as boxing, music and history…all of which he enjoy’s reading about too.

Graeme is the co-founder and Director of Softworx IT division, joining The Softworx Group in 2021. Having 20 years industry experience developing his skillset from Helpdesk to Lead Engineer, allows Graeme to have a holistic approach to client projects and the leadership of his team of engineers.

Outside work, Graeme enjoys spending time with his young family and socialising with friends.
